Mia Ivančević

Associate

Mia Ivancevic was born in Belgrade in 1984, where she finished elementary school and the 10th Belgrade Gymnasium. Graduated from the Department of Sociology (module Culture) at the University of Belgrade's Faculty of Philosophy in 2008. Alongside her regular studies, she completed one-year undergraduate studies for talented students at DAUS University of the Belgrade Open School (generation 2007/2008).  Until 2013, Mia lived and worked in Belgrade in several sectors: NGO (AIRO-Action for Integration, Development and Education), market research (GFK Belgrade 2009-2010), publishing (English Book 2011-2012), social research (Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia and the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade), Tourism (English Tours in Belgrade 2012-2013, Trend Touristic in Crete 2013-2015), etc. She has been living in Banja Luka since 2013, and since 2015 has been working at the Academy of Arts of the University of Banja Luka in various positions. Currently, she occupies a position of an Expert Associate for Project Preparation and Faculty Promotion. During studies and later working career, she attended various seminars, conferences and trainings.   Since 2023, Mia is a member of the Center for Visual Arts Banja Luka and actively participates in all projects that the center implements with the Academy of Arts.
