Inter/Action 2022 is a project of cooperation, dialogue and exchange on ideas and issues of contemporary art that has been continuously implemented by students of the Faculty of Fine Arts and the Department of Art History of the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Belgrade since 2016. Since 2021, Inter/Akcije has been joined by colleagues from the Academy of Arts of the University of Banja Luka with the support of the Museum of Contemporary Art of the Republic of Srpska. The central part of the Inter/Action program is an exhibition that develops from the joint engagement of young professionals in the world of contemporary art who, applying the acquired knowledge, make the first public steps in the articulation of opinions, attitudes and views on art in an exhibition format.
The exhibition Inter/Akcija 2022 brings together the artistic positions of female and male students who have completed their basic and master studies at the Faculty of Fine Arts from Belgrade and the Academy of Arts of the University of Banja Luka, which range from subjective, intimate views of the complex conditions of modernity to consideration of its widely understood social frameworks. Expressing themselves through different techniques and media, young artists talk about different forms of their own contemporaneity.
The project is coordinated by the Center for Visual Arts in Banja Luka, which is supported by the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Srpska.
